Sam Houston State University Inline hockey competes in the Southwest Collegiate Hockey League which is a part of the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association the governing body of Collegiate Roller Hockey.

The SHSU Inline Hockey team is a club team. Our members range from freshmen to seniors, and players must pay a low semester due in order to cover the necessary expenses of playing. We compete in a total of six tournaments a year, not including advancement to the National Tournament. Tournaments are held in Denton, Texas and Houston, Texas.
